General VOXopolis Information
Can I have more than one VoxID?
Yes. You may have unlimited VoxIDs that you manage from your MyVOX page. Each VoxID is attached to an email account so you must have multiple email addresses for multiple VoxIDs.
What are the differences between a VOXfree and VOXplus accounts?
VOXfree account allows you to send and receive a VOXes using a VOX generated user name.
The VOXplus account includes those features as well as one customized VoxID, a personalized microsite and associated URL address.
How is VOXopolis different from other anonymous communications websites?
In a nutshell, interactivity! Other anonymous services, such as survey websites, 360 degree feedback, anonymous tip lines, and suggestion boxes, are all one way communications. VOXopolis is the first to allow for anonymous interactive communications.
Can I send a VOX to VOX non-subscribers?
Yes, go to the QuickVOX feature and enter his or her email address and type your VOX. They will receive an email notification that they have an anonymous message with a link to VOXopolis.com.
How do I attach a file or image to my VOX?
In the QuickVOX feature, simple click on the blue Attach Button and attach your file or image. VOXopolis allows the following file types to be attached: pdf, jpg, jpeg, bmp, tiff, png, gif, doc, and docx. The following video types are accepted: 3GPP, mov, QT, and wmv. Please note that you have an attachment limit of 10mb per VOX.
Am I able to block people from sending me VOXes?
Yes, with all incoming VOXes you have the option to block any inkling VOXes from that sender.
How do I import my addresses to VOXopolis?
At the MyVOX Control Panel, click on the VOX Import button and use the interface screen that appears to import your addresses or address book from another email program such as Outlook, Lotus Notes, Entourage, Mac Mail, etc.
Can I VOX on my mobile device?
VOXopolis Mobile will be coming in 2010.
Does VOXopolis link with Twitter, Facebook or other social networks?
We are constantly developing VOXopolis to work with other technologies. Integration with social networking communities and tools are in the works!
